Puget sound Assisted Living provides 24 hr per day care for people who have developmental disabilities. We have licensed nurses on staff 24 hours per day to help clients with their medications and treatments. Because of our nursing staff, we are able to take care of people who are fairly medically complex (trach care, tube feeding, seizure management, etc.).

 

Our clients live in 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Our Independent Living Assistants (ILAs) support them with all of their activities of daily living with a focus on providing support where it is needed but allowing our clients to do as much for themselves as possible.

 

Our clients go to local stores to shop for their own groceries with help from our staff. Through our community Access program, our clients are often out and about in their community enjoying themselves. We make many trips to Owen's Beach, Titlow Park, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble and other area attractions with our clients. 

 

We work closely with our clients on setting goals for themselves. These goals are based upon the principles of achieving the highest possible degree of independence in home living, being integrated into their community, being able to participate in life-long learning activities and achieving an optimal level of health and safety.
